"No scratches or dents. The only sign that this whistle has been played is that it has a bit of a patina making the "finger-areas" around the holes visible. Of course a lot of us like this look on a whistle - but if you wanted, I'm pretty sure just rubbing it down with vinegar or something else acidic would take the surface right back to the original sheen."
