Description

Before I embarked on my piping journey I was a decent fingerpicking guitarist, and I still have the guitar hand-made for me around 1978 in Liverpool by the guitarmaker Richard Hebden.
But it’s time to let it go, so I had the esteemed guitar repair person Jonathan Waldo get it back in playing shape, and now I’m seeing if there is any interest among my musicianer friends.
It’s a small guitar with a fabulous sound, built for extra-light steel strings. Unusual construction: soundboard has fan-strutting like a classical guitar; neck is built for extra-light steel strings, with no truss rod. Not sure what woods used.

Asking $2,000 (I put $800 into the repairs) + $100 freight. Buyer pays insurance.
