In 1876 he established his own workshop, producing professional-grade flutes renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and distinctive tonal character. Bonneville flutes are often described as having a richer, more textured sound than the cleaner Lot instruments - somewhere between the warmth of English wooden flutes and the brightness of French silver. Based on the serial number, this flute was made circa 1910.＜/span＞＜/p＞＜p class="editor-paragraph" dir="ltr"＞＜span＞This instrument features a C foot, open hole keys, inline G, and French pointed cups. The body and mechanism are silver plated.＜/span＞＜/p＞＜p class="editor-paragraph" dir="ltr"＞＜span＞The flute was retuned to A440 and the lip plate reworked by Emanuel Arista.
