The flute was in good overall condition prior to restoration, with all original sections, keyblocks, and components intact.＜/p＞＜p＞The flute has been fully restored by renowned maker and restorer Colin Hamilton. The patent head had a crack from a prior superficial repair — Colin pulled the liner for a proper restoration and did extensive work on the patent mechanism, including remaking some components. All joints have been re-threaded, keys repadded, and the instrument thoroughly cleaned. The original case has also been restored.＜/p＞＜p＞The headjoint/barrel combination seals fully. The flute speaks easily and cleanly down to low C. Sounding length is 582mm. ＜/p＞＜p＞All original, fully restored, and ready to play.＜/p＞
